Babes In Toyland - Hansome And Gretel/Pearl (Insipid Vinyl 1991)
One of the most horrible covers ever. The front has singer Kat Bjelland emerging bloodied from a car crash, and the back is drummer Lori Barbero after being punched by her boyfriend (I think that’s the origin of the image if I remember right - the internet didn’t help). No one really mentions Babes In Toyland anymore which is a shame, they definitely had something going on back then. Label logo drawn by the inimitable Savage Pencil.
This is correct, Lori was driving the car when a tyre hit their windscreen.
